Time Out Food Awards 2020: What to eat and drink this weekend

Join us this weekend as we celebrate everything that makes Beijing dining great

A blow-out celebration of the city's restaurant scene, the Time Out Beijing Food Awards are back for the 15th time running this weekend. Given the unusual times of 2020, it’s safe to say there’s never been a better time to look back, and recognise those who make Beijing dining great, namely the venues and people who have gone the extra mile, done whatever to keep us fed, and made our homebound lives bearable over the past few months.

All of which means an excuse for a big ol’ party – which is why we're swinging open our doors to everyone this year. The 15th edition of our annual event will take over the bumpin' In-Street at Sanyuanqiao, bringing together an eclectic line-up of f&b purveyors and vendors under one roof. Better yet, the general public is invited along with free entry.

Join us for a weekend worth of eating and drinking with a cracker line-up of Beijing restaurants and cafes who will be presenting bites of their signature cuisines, as well as a variety of vendors spanning from drinks and food, to design and lifestyle. 

Browse and eat your way through the city's prime dining spots in one stop. Nosh on some palatable foods – from the cheapest of cheap eats to the fanciest of fine dining, and wash them down with premium booze afterwards.

This year, we also have 12 restaurants who will specially create desserts at the awards night itself. And those who have nabbed a coveted dessert ticket (sold out) will be part of the jury that will be able to taste over 30 treats, and then vote for who should take home top honours.
